Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct the parallax of an automatic focusing type compact camera by moving the optical axis of a lens system which makes a focus adjustment instantaneously to and from a finder in parallel in addition to the forward/ backward movement of the lens system. CONSTITUTION:When a lens barrel 3 is rotated outward according to a measurement of short distance taken by an automatic focusing device, a barrel 10 is lifted by the rotation of a cam 10 fitted to the barrel 3, and the optical axis is therefore moved by the frame support part 9 to the finder 2 in parallel against the force of a spring 12 together with a movable support frame 8. In this case, the optical axis of the lens is moved from an optical axis A as shown by a chain line A' for infinite-distance photography, but the range of the photography between the upper and lower end parts of a film surface is as shown by dotted lines B' and C'. Therefore, the distance up to a subject, extent of the outward movement of the lens system, and the lift of a cam are selected to make the visual field of the finder 2 coincident with the photographic range of photographic distance.

The present invention moves the lens system in parallel in the direction of the finder in conjunction with the movement of the lens system by a distance of 11Hj1 adjusted by an automatic focusing device to match the viewfinder's field of view and the shooting range. This is an attempt to correct parallax.

In this case, the optical axis of the finder and the optical axis of the lens system do not necessarily have to be parallel, but the drawing shows a case where they are parallel, and shows the state of the camera when photographing an object at infinity.

第二図はこの第一図に対し近距離の被写体を(3) 撮影する時のカメラの状態を示すものである。The second figure shows a subject at a closer distance (3) compared to the first figure. This shows the state of the camera when taking pictures.

In this case, the optical axis of the lens moves parallel to the optical axis A in the case of shooting at infinity in the direction of the viewfinder, resulting in a chain line A, but the distance to the subject that falls on the top and bottom edges of the film plane and the shape of the lens system By selecting the amount of protrusion and the lift of the cam, it is possible to match the field of view of the finder and the shooting range at the shooting distance.

As described above, the present invention eliminates parallax in an autofocus compact camera by moving the optical axis parallel to the viewfinder in addition to the back-and-forth movement of the lens system that instantaneously adjusts the focus. Since it can be corrected, it brings great benefits to photography.
