おいて、前記像担体表面に向けて開口部を有するハウジ
ング部材と、該ハウジング部材に収納され前記像担体表
面の未転写トナーを除去するクリーニング手段と、前記
ハウジング部材と前記像担体表面との間隙にて前記ｌ像
担体表面から適長離隔して回転可能に設けられたローラ
とを有し、該ローラは前年トナーの帯電極性と逆極性の
電位に保持されていることを特徴とするクリーニング装
