Abstract

PURPOSE:To immediately detect a fault occurring to a user side in automatic operation and to make a recovery from the fault, by equipping a maintenance center with a status information gathering and round checking means for user computers, a storage device, and an analyzing and diagnosing means. CONSTITUTION:A round checking means 1 makes an automatic circuit connection with user sides and starts an inquiry. On a user side, a status monitoring device SVP21 is actuated to check system conditions, and the result is transferred to the center side. The means 1 receives it and holds an inquiry to a next user system 20 when the received information shows that no fault occurs. When activity information is transferred, on the other hand, logging to the logging storage part of a record file 32 is performed and a diagnosing means 2 is actuated. The means 2 refers to the cause of a fault in logging information and a maintenance item table 33 to bracket the fault by inquiry items of an inquiry table 31, thereby informing the user side with the maintenance points. 示せず)K基づいて、当該ユーザ・システム20と自動
回線接続(従来技術による)を行い問診を開始する。問
診を受けた当該ユーザ嗜システム20では、状態監視装
置21(以降、SvPと称する)が起動され、ユーザ・
システム21のシステム状況を調査し、システムに異常
があれば稼動情報を収集して回線IS経由でセンタ・シ
ステム1Gへ転送する。又システムに異常がなければ、
異常無しの信号のみをセンタ・システムに転送する0回
診手段1は転送されて来た情報又は信号を受信し、異常
無しの信号の時は当該ユーザ・システム20(D問診完
了を記録して、次のスケジ轟−ルされたユーザ・システ
ム20の問診を行う。一方、稼動情報が転送されて来た
時は記録ファイル32のロギング収納部(図示せず)K
