Claims

In an electrophotographic liquid developing device in which the electrostatic latent image surface of an electrophotographic photoreceptor faces a developing electrode and is transported through a developer solution for development, there is a bottom plate that is provided approximately horizontally, and a bottom plate that is spaced apart from the bottom plate by a predetermined distance. A horizontal developing chamber formed by developing electrodes facing each other and forming a top plate and a side plate is divided into a front part and a rear part with respect to the direction in which the photoreceptor is transported. There is a step so that the distance between the electrode and the electrostatic latent image surface is smaller than that at the rear of the developing chamber, and a developer is applied to the step and/or the front and/or rear of the developing chamber, respectively. 1. A liquid developing device for electrophotography, which has a supply path, and the developer supply path at the front of the development chamber is inclined so that the developer flows toward the rear of the development chamber.
