Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the transfer time, by sorting the picture data to be transferred to a picture terminal into those having a change and others having no change and then synthesizing both data at the picture terminal. CONSTITUTION:The picture data supplied from a picture center 1 are sorted to the information having no change and the information having a change. At first, the information having no change is stored in a picture storage circuit 4 when these two types of information are received at a picture terminal. Then only the data having a change is transferred to the picture terminal from the center 1. When the data is fed to a buffer memory 3, the control information in the data is transferred to a control circuit 6 to read out the picture number contained in the control information. Then the picture data related to the information having no change is designated among those which are previously stored in the circuit 4 and then delivered to a picture synthesizing circuit 5 together with the picture data of the memory 3. The circuit 5 synthesizes both data and displays them to a display 8. As a result, the quantity of transfer can be reduced. This can decrease the time of transfer.
