PURPOSE:To reduce the necessary torque of an impellor to contribe the increasing of the revolving speed and the flow amount of the pump as well as the improvement of the performance thereof by a method wherein the central inlet area of the pump impellor is choked, vanes are made so as to have linear-shapes and the angle of the vane near the outlet of the impellor is increased toward the reverse direction of the revolution thereof. CONSTITUTION:Since the flow path area of the inlet 2 of the impellor is narrowed, the impellor is sucked toward the outflow direction of the fluid when the inflow fluid is flowed out toward the direction of the flow path 3 due to the inducting effect, the torque necessary for the impellor is reduced and the performance of the impellor is improved. The vane is linear and slanted until the vicinity of the outlet thereof substantially at the part of the vane 4, therefore, a large velocity head is generated together with a centrifugal force in the fluid when the impellor is revolved.
