In general, in fixed-temperature heat sensors using bimetals or the like, the heat-sensitive element is exposed and the heat-collecting plate protrudes, so there is a risk of damaging the heat-collecting plate or the heat-sensitive element during installation work or other operations.

In the case of smoke detectors, the detection part is covered with a protective cover made of metal or the like to prevent the effects of wind, etc., but even then, the characteristics of the smoke detector change if it is hit by an object.

Conventionally, devices are known in which a protective cover is provided in order to protect the above-mentioned sensing section from external forces, but the protective cover fits into a protective cover mounting hole newly provided on the sensor base. Or, it was attached to the base by screwing into a screw hole provided in the peripheral wall of the base.

The above-mentioned protective cover mounting device has the disadvantage that if it is fitted into the mounting hole, it will come off due to a strong impact, and if it is fixed with screws, there are threaded holes in the peripheral wall of the base, so use a screwdriver to tighten the screws. When tightening, the wrist hits the ceiling surface, which makes the work difficult, which not only increases the working time, but also increases the number of parts and manufacturing costs.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks, can be used without modifying the structure of conventional sensors, especially the structure of the base, has appropriate strength against external forces, and is easy to install. An object of the present invention is to provide a device for easily attaching a protective cover for a fire detector.

The above explanation is for the case where the base 3 is as shown in FIG. 4, but when the base 3 is as shown in FIG. 3, the locking part 10 is fitted into the cylindrical part 5 as shown in FIG. By providing a notch 12 to be fitted, the locking part 10 inserted into the mounting hole 4 is fitted into the notch 12, and the protective cover 9 is integrally attached to the base 3 by this fitting. However, in order to avoid affecting the heat-sensitive characteristics of the heat-sensitive part by attaching the protective cover 9, as illustrated in FIG.
It is desirable that the cross-sectional shape of the beams 13 of the protective cover 9 be wedge-shaped or wing-shaped to reduce air resistance, and that the beams 13 be oriented so that airflow is guided to the heat collecting plate 2.
