Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify assorting works and to avoid mistake caused by the assortment, by moving a control section and a deflecting unit to a desired bin tray by an indication signal of the control section. CONSTITUTION:At a collator 2 provided to a facsimile device 1, each bin tray 10 is provided with section seals 39 in accordance with an addressed section 38 for papers designated for address. When a reception copy with a black mark to the addressed section 38 is carried to the collator, a signal detected at a mark reader 36 is collated with a specific code of each bin tray by a collator control section 35, a motor 32 is driven with a command from the collator control section 35 and a deflecting unit 31 is moved to a corresponding bin tray via a lifting mechanism 33. Thus, the reception copy is fed to this bin tray with the deflecting unit 31.
