For the character which is not found on the board 5, a desired character 1a is found out of a dictionary 1. And a bar code 1c is read by a hand scanner 2 and sent to a scanner control part 3 to be edited into a character code. This character code is sent to the part 4. A bar code key input key 4a is locked and a contact is closed, and accordingly the part 4 does not accept the signal from the part 10. The part 4 sends the character code of the board 5 or the dictionary 1 to an information process part via an interface part 11.
