Abstract

PURPOSE:To make input faster and sure, by making key discrimination through the coincidence between the keys depressed at the first time and the second time, on a keyboard having a rollover function. CONSTITUTION:When the 2nd key is depressed while the 1st key is depressed, if the 2nd key is depressed succeedingly after the 1st key is detached, since the key-off signal is at ''1'' level, a flip-flop 17 is in a set state. Thus, the key line data and encoding data obtained from the 1st key are stored in storage registers 12, 14. Next, the storage by the 2nd key is started. As to the key line data and encoding data inputted from the 2nd key, the comparison with the data in the storage registers 12, 14 is made at coincidence circuits 15, 16. If the coincidence at both the circuits is not taken, the input from the 2nd key is set to key buffers 7, 9.
