Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce unevenness in density caused when each group of multistylus is record-energized in an arrangement order, by a method wherein a record- energizing order of a time division group is reversed at every one line or every several lines. CONSTITUTION:In an odd line, segment electrodes 311, 321, 312, 322... and multistyluses SG1-SG2n-1, SG2-SG2n of each group are record-energized by a timing in the direction of an arrow mark A, and in an even line, they are record- energized by a timing in the direction of an arrow mark B being a reverse direction to that in the odd line. Picture signals for a single line are taken in a reverse order at each group to apply them to a picture signal driver. In recording, the shade of the odd group and that of the even group alternate with each other at every one line, and no black stripe nor white stripe is produced on the whole at a picture to produce no grid-shaped shade. They may alter at every two lines or every three lines.
