Abstract

PURPOSE:To regenerate stable, high-precision vertical synchronizing pulses from a video signal containing waveform distortion, by using an addition video signal obtained by adding a video signal and its delay signal with the same amplitude value. CONSTITUTION:When a video signal l1 is applied, an adder 4a adds this input video signal and a delay video signal, delayed a constant time behind the said video signal by a delay circuit 4b, with nearly the same amplitude value, and the gain is reduced to half by an attenuator 4c to obtain an addition video signal at a terminal l2. The delay time value is set nearly equal to the pulse width of horizontal synchronizing pulses. Then, this addition video signal is applied to a trailing low-pass filter 5 to remove unnecessary high-frequency components.
