Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the size in compact and light weight by integrating the structure so as to control ignition timing by means of an electronic circuit equipped with an adjusting capacitor.
CONSTITUTION: An adjusting capacitor CA is connected in parallel between the emitter and the base of a control transistor Q3 which performs interruptin of the primary forward current on the primary winding T1 of an ignition coil T. In utilization of inverse voltage of the primary winding T1 which is proportioned to turning speed in the adjusting capacitor CA, a circuit to store the forward charging electric charge is provided, potential at the time of making forward charging on the adjusting capacitor CA is increased beforehand by means of the voltage which has detected the primary forward current flowing along a composite connecting circuit, and in proportion as the turning speed goes up, start in the electric conduction of the control transistor Q3 is quickened, and ignition timing is set to the advance in its angle. When it arrives at the limit turning speed, the adjusting capacitor CA is automatically changed over to the circuit which makes inverse electric charging, the lag in its angle is suddenly yielded, and output in the engine is lowered.
