Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure sufficient sounds to make clear receiving possible, by fitting a piezoelectric thin film consisting of ceramic materials to a prescribed holding frame into a curved face. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ceramic vibrator 1 is put in a hole 3 of a holding plate 5 and is made horizontal, and a screw 6 is tightened. The vibrator 1 is contracted first and is deformed to a curved face, and the center rises to form the vibrator 1 into a spherical face. The screw 6 is tightened until the radius of the curvature becomes a desired value, and this curved state is kept stably. Next, a lead wire 7 is connected to an insulating terminal 8 fixed to the holding plate 5, and the other end of the lead wire 7 is soldered to a silver electrode 2 of the vibrator 1. A lead wire 9 is soldered to the silver electrode 2 on the reverse of the vibrator 1 also, and the other end of the lead wire 9 is connected to a screw 10 embedded in the plate 5. When audio outputs are applied to terminals 8 and 9 of the holding plate 5 of the transducer constituted in this manner, sounds of a large volume are generated considering a small area.
