Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the color deviation of a reproduced picture, by driving synchronously a rotary head cylinder by the second reference signal to equalize the relative speed between the rotary head and the tape to that for recording when the picture is reproduced in a tape speed higher than that for recording. CONSTITUTION:In case of the cue reproducing in a tape speed n-fold as high as that for normal reproducing, it is necessary to change the relative speed between the rotary head and the tape from that for recording by increasing the tape speed n-fold. For the purpose of changing this relative speed, a switch 17 is switched at the cue reproducing time, and the output of the second reference oscillating source 20 is applied to a phase control circuit 7 to drive a head cylinder motor 1 synchronously. The second reference oscillating source 20 is provided to correct the variation of the relative speed between the rotary head and the tape by rotation of the head cylinder and has a frequency shifted from the frequency of the first reference oscillating source 16, which is used at the normal reproducing time, by correction components. A capstan motor 10 is so controlled that it has a constant phase relation to the output of the reference oscillating source 20.
