Abstract
PURPOSE:To synchronize a TDMA satellite system without correcting the delay between receivers of earth stations, by synchronizing a reference burst of each transponder with a main reference burst and by synchronizing each transponder of a slave station with the reference burst. CONSTITUTION:A reference burst Y of the second transponder accessed by earth stations D, E and F is subordinatd to a reference burst X of the first transponder accessed by earth stations A, B and C. In the TDMA satellite communication system operated by multitransponders, one reference burst is provided in each transponder, and one main reference burst is provided among reference bursts of respetive transponders, and refernce bursts of respective transponders are synchronized with the main reference burst, and a slave station is synchronized with the reference burst of the transponder accessed by the slave station itself. Thus, since each slave station is synchronized with the reference burst of the transponder accessed by the slave station itself, it is unnecessary to correct the difference of the delay quantity between receivers.
