Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the plastic bottle having the optimum and uniform wall thickness distribution, by enabling to heat only the difficultly stretchable part at high temperature by irradiating and heating the preform with laser beam partially. CONSTITUTION:After the preform 5 is uniformly heated to the stretching temperature, the laser beam (wave length 0.3-20mu) generated from the laser apparatus 6 irradiates and heats the rotating preform 5, being scanned by the scanner 7 so as to temperature distribution is made by varying the scanning speed in the axis direction, and the aimed plastic bottle is obtained. Also, if necessary, the lens 8 and the masking plate 9 may be used instead of the scanner 7. EFFECT:Short time heating is possible while the cost is lowered.
