Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform an efficient absorption of solar energy by a method wherein a smooth inner surface of the solar heat collector is made to a curved reflection surface, solar light beam inlet hole is made at a part of the reflection surface and heat absorption material is arranged at the interior of the heat collector.
CONSTITUTION: Inner surface of the container 10 is made to a smooth reflection surface for heat, a part of the upper surface of the reflection surface is arranged as a solar heat intake port, the corresponding part is closed by a transparent plate 3. Both sides of the container 1 are closed by lids 4 having their smooth heat reflection surfaces being faced inside thereof similar to that of the inner surface of the container 1. Rod-like heat absorption member 2 is arranged at both lids 4 in such a manner as it is passed through a substantial central part of the inner surface of the container, and the lids 4 are provided with inlet and outlet ports 6 and 7. When water is fed into the container, the solar light beam passed through the transparent plate 3 is struck against the heat absorption member 2, thereby the heat absorption member 2 is heated and the water filled around the heat absorption member is changed to hot water by the heat.
