Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cell for measurement of absorbance which saves labor for suction, etc. of reaction sample, and makes processing higher in speed and devices simpler by making a cassette formed with plural indepencent cells having opened tops and flat bottoms by using a transparent material. CONSTITUTION:A cassette body 1 is of a box shape made of a colorless transparent material, and is formed with plural pieces of cell parts 1a, which are of the prescribed size, are respectively independett and are opened at top, at the same pitch, in a matrix shape. A cover part 2 is made of a colorless transparent material, and is formed with projecting parts 2a, which fit respectively into the parts 1a when put on the body 1, and are flat in the bottom, by as much as the number of the parts 1a. If absorbancy measurement is carried out by using the cell cassette of such constitution, there is no need for making measurement by conducting the reaction sample successively to flow cells, and the time for the measurement is reduced. In addition, it is free from cross contamination and bubble formation on account of its principle, and the accuracy of analysis is maintained.
