Abstract
PURPOSE:To determine function of standardization of acoustic emission (AE) in real time with an object to be measured of which the system changes with time by determining a standard body and substituting the object to be measured with the standard body. CONSTITUTION:The signal f(t) generated with an electric signal generator 9 is converted to an elastic wave signal with a converter 3 for transmission. This signal is converted to an electric signal g(t) by a converter 4 for reaction via an object 1 to be measured. The signals f(t) and g(t) are respectively Fourier-transformed with a Fourier-transform device, by which the signal f(t) is made into F and the signal g(t) into G. Further, the converted values F and G are converted to the operated value G/F=H with an operator 12. The resistance value Z of the converter 3 is also measured with an electric resistance measuring device 13. Here, the object 1 is substituted with a standard body 1S and the operated value HS of the body 1S is determined by the method similar to that for measuring the object 1. From the resistance value of the converter 3 and the reception sensitivity of the converter 4 of this time, the function of AE standardization is determined.
