Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely detect oscillations even when noise is large, by obtaining average frequencies of a sound detecting signal at an in-furance structure, etc., and detecting oscillations from the average frequencies. CONSTITUTION:A sound detector 1 detects a sound signal, generated by mutual friction or collision due to the oscillation of an in-furnace structure, and also a noise signal. These detected signals are supplied to an operator 7 through a BPF6 after they are amplified 5, and an average frequency of the sound signals is obtained, then ,the output is analized in frequency. Consequently, a peak valve of the sound signal generated by oscillation of the structure is clearly distinguished in the variation of an average frequency of the noise. When the size and location of the peak valve are compared with a set value, abnormal oscillation of in-furnace structure can be detected.
