Abstract

PURPOSE: To make voltage suited for a clock circuit and lower the power consumption of the entire part by passing the battery output through a voltage control circuit which outputs the voltage lower than the battery voltage then boosting the same to integer times.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a battery E is passed through a clamping circuit 3 constituted by an MISFET (metal insulator field effect transistor) Q14, a reference voltage generating circuit 2 and a voltage comparator 1, whereby it is lowered to the clamp output voltage V1 lower than the battery voltage VE. This voltage V1 is boosted V2, V3 to integer times in a boosting circuit 4. The clamp voltage V1 and the voltages V2, V3 boosted 2 times and 3 times from this are applied to a display driving circut 6, and the display driving outputs multiplexed by trisection levels are formed. The clamp voltage V1 is applied to a logical circuit block 5 for clock operation.
