Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the vibration mode of a spring, etc., accurately without contacting by measuring vibrations by photodetecting the reflected light of thin beam light. CONSTITUTION:The measurement point of a spring 2, etc., is irradiated with thin laser beam light from a laser oscillator 1. Then, its reflected laser light from the spring 2 is photodetected through a collimator lens 8 by a photoconductor position detector 3, whose output is displayed on a synchroscope and also recorded on a data recorder 5. On the basis of orthogonal two-axial coordinate position data of the measurement point read on the recorder 5, vibration mode, such as amplitude, a vibration frequency and vibration waveform is determined. Therefore, the vibration mode of the spring, etc., is detected accurately without contacting.
