Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a vehicle from its incapable state of operation, by performing fuel injection control imitated to specific pressure within a changing range at normal operation when an intake pressure sensor circuit becomes abnormal.
CONSTITUTION: Basic fuel injection quantity is stored in ROMs 19, 20 with the parameters of at least one of the intake air quantity and throttle valve opening and speed of an engine. A function generator means reads out basic fuel injection quantity data from the ROMs 19, 20 with the parameters of at least one of the intake negative pressure and throttle valve opening and speed of the engine. This data is corrected by correcting means in accordance with intake pressure. Then for output of an air intake sensor 44 to become a maximum or minimum value, its action is detected to be abnormal. When abnormality is detected, fuel injection control imitated to specific pressure within a changing range at normal operation is performed.
