Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain satisfactorily travelling performance and exhaust gas characteristics even during warming-up running by constituting a controller such that increment factor given to basic supply amount from a map in the warming-up running is changed according to travelling condition of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: In the above mentioned apparatus constituted as one of programs of a microcomputer in a control unit 12, fuel increment factors KAWKD given to the basic supply amount from a map (not shown) in warm-up running are adapted to be changed according to the travelling condition of an engine. In the implementation of the program, number of revolution N of the engine and intake negative pressure VC are first measured and read in a first step (here after called S1). In the succeeding S2, map ON duty DM of basic supply amount is obtauned. In the next S3, engine temperature TW is measured and correspondingly 4 types of tables are referred to for the respective increment factors KAWKD. In the succeeding S4 to S7 the running condition of the engine is judged. Thus, optimum control of A/F can be always provided.
