CONSTITUTION:Sampling of an input signal is executed by changing over a switch 120 and a switch 101 to the side of an analog input terminal 121 and the side of 2, respectively, and subsequently, the switch 120 is changed over to the side of ground. Voltage Vx in this case becomes Vx=(VRef/2)-Vin. Subsequently, decision of MSB (uppermost bit) is executed by changing over a switch 118 to the side of a reference voltage terminal 122. Voltage Vx in this case becomes Vx=(VRef/2-Vin) +VRef/2. Accordingly, comparison reference voltage of a comparator 102 becomes VRef/2 by a resistance 131.
