Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate an operation controlling section and an input/output controlling section either in series or in parallel so that the processing speed may be improved, by starting a corresponding controlling section in accordance with the result of monitoring on operation of the operation controlling section and the input/output controlling section and the contents of a controlling block of the starting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A supplementary controlling section 17 which is started by the CPU11 and which controls input and output of data into a micro-program controlling section 15 and a memory 16 separately from the CPU11, is installed, and the first class and second class controlling blocks are installed to the controlling section 17. When this controlling section 17 is started by the CPU11, the controlling section 15 is controlled by the first starting conditions signal which indicates series/parallel operation from the first controlling block, and the second operation complete signal from the second controlling block, and an operator 13 is program controlled. Moreover, by the starting conditions signal which indicates series/parallel operation, obtained from the second controlling block and the first operation complete signal from the first controlling block, data for a memory 15 are controlled and thus the processing speed is improved.
