Abstract
PURPOSE:To assuredly detect the position of the noise band, by providing a means to give an envelope curve wave detection to the FM carrier reproduced by a tape, a high band pass filter means and the 1st and 2nd zero cross detecting means and then comparing the output signal of the 2nd zero cross detecting means with the vertical synchronous signal or the signal synchronous with the vertical synchronous signal. CONSTITUTION:An envelope curve wave detection is given to the reproduced FM carrier through an envelope curve wave detecting circuit 4, and the DC component is eliminated by a high pass filter 5. Then the zero cross position is detected to obtain a pulse signal, and this signal is integrated by an integral network 7. A zero cross detection is carried out again through a zero cross detecting circuit 8. Thus a signal whose rise substantially coincident with the minimum point of the reproduced FM carrier is obtained. This signal is converted through a waveform shaping circuit 9 to obtain a pulse signal having a certain width. When a coincidence is obtained between a high level output of the above-mentioned pulse signal and the vertical synchronous signal, the noise band phase is detected. As a result, an accurate coincidence of the noise band caused during the steal reproduction with the vertical blanking period is obtained.
