Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a dead lock system breakdown, by eliminating the code already transmitted by a faulty station out of a transmission line in case a fualt arises at a station and then securing a by-pass state for the corresponding station. CONSTITUTION:Each constant is set to satisfy a relation of (T2-T1)>(tL+tS), where tL is the time during which a code has a circulation along a loop transmission line 6, tS is the time of transmission or reception of a code (either one of the selection code, replay code and command code) to or from a transmission line, and T1 and T2 are time constants of monostable multivibrators 11 and 11-1 respectively. When a fault arises at a device 2-1, the S2-1 is switched to switch only the transmission side toward a by-pass line. Thus the circuit is broken, and the codes on the circuits are all erased during time limit T2-T1. After this, the S1-1 is switched to eliminate the conventional dead lock system breakdown. Then a perfect by-pass state is ensured.
