Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an effective and positive heating by a method wherein there is provided a shutter between an inner barrier and an outer barrier of a door which prevents heat from being escaped from the inside of the heating chamber when closed and enables an inspection of the inside of the heating chamber when the door is opened.
CONSTITUTION: A lateralby-opened door 22 which may open or close a heating chamber 21 provided with a rectangular window part 23 is pivotally supported at the front part of a main body 20 provided with a heating chamber 21. Magnetron 24, upper heater 25 and lower heater 26 are arranged in the heating chamber 21. The door 22 is composed of a frame 32 and an outer barrier 33, a shutter 34, a net 35 and an inner barrier 36 which are arranged in a desired spaced apart relation in sequence in the window part 23 in the frame 32 from an outer part thereof. When the shutter 34 is closed, it is possible to prevent heat from being escaped from inside the heating chamber 21 through the door 22 and further it is possible to look into the inside part of the heating chamber 21.
