Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable hot water supply with a prescribed temperature to be obtained quickly, by controlling the quantity of the water supply, based on the difference between an incoming water temperature and a set water temperature. CONSTITUTION:A hot water supply temperature detected at a hot water supply temperature detector 4 on the outlet side of a heat exchanger 2 and a set temperature TWR from a temperature setting apparatus 5 are inputted into a temperature controller 3 to control a controller 6 for controlling the calorie to be supplied to a burner 1. An incoming temperature TW detected at an incoming water temperature detector 9 on the inlet side of said heat exchanger 2 and the set temperature TWR are inputted into a water quantity controller 8 to control a supply water quantity controller 10. A hot water supply capacity setting apparatus 11 sends a signal to the water quantity controller 8 when the capacity of the burner 1 is changed so that the quantity of supply water is controlled to correspond to the capacity of the burner 1.
