Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform an accurate and simple immunity measurement of a homo- parathyroid hormone (homo-PTH), by using an antibody, obtained using a specified peptide and a given enzyme labelled product. CONSTITUTION:An antiserum (an antibody) obtained through sensitization of peptide, indicated by a formulaI, where R2 is H, H-Cys-group, to rabits, rats, and an enzyme labelled product, obtained through combination of peptide, indicated by a formula II, where R is H, R1-Rro-Arg-group, with an enzyme, such as beta-galactosidase, are used. Or, a sample, in which a homo-PTH contact is estimated to be measured, an antiserum (an antibody), obtained using the peptide of the formulaI, and an emzyme labelled product, obtained from the optide of the formula II, are incubated in an immunity reaction medium, such as phosphoric acid buffer solution at about 4-5 deg.C for about 1-3 days. Then, the rsultant work is separated into a part B, where an immunity combination is conducted, and a part F, where an immunity combination is not conducted, and the enzyme acitivity of the part B or part F is then measured to measure the homo-PTH content in a sample.
