Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain effective pressure for sure simply in a device to convey solid materials and the like by running fluid in pipes by blowing pressurized fluid into pipes in the direction of conveyance for reducing the area of the running section of the fluid in pipes. CONSTITUTION:Annular chests 2-2b are fitted round the outer wall of a main pipe 1 to convey solid materials by fluid pressure, covering annular slits 5 provided to face top parts of taper pipes 3-3b connected with the main pipe 1 to the expanded part 4 at the end of the main pipe 1. The top parts of the taper pipes 3-3b are contracted inside to form narrow parts 6. In this construction, when pressurized air is sent into the annular chests 2 and 2a from a compressor 10 via airpipes 7 and 7a, the pressurized air is blown into the main pipe 1 through annular slits 5. Thereby, the fluid in the main pipe 1 is contracted as arrows 8 show, and reduced in its sectional area. A high speed thus given causes a sucking force, and solid materials are drawn as an arrow 9 shows.
