CONSTITUTION:After a power source is turned on, a main controller 57 starts a low-speed communication controlling circuit 53 to hold reception in readiness. In this state, when the controlling circuit 53 receives information transferred from the side of an electronic computer body 21, the information is written in a storage device 53. Once this writing ends, the main controller 57 drives a high- speed communication controlling circuit 54 to transmit a request for transmission. The high-speed communication controlling circuit 54 reads the information out of said storage part 55 and sends it to the side of a local interface 52. Since this interface 52 performs high-speed serial transfer, the transfer ends immediately and the completion of the transmission is reported to the main controller 57. Then, the main controller 57 places the high-speed communication controlling circuit 54 in a reception-enabled state and waits for answers from work stations 251-25n.
