Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute an equipment so that a receiver which is able to receive an emergency broadcast can be tested in both a receiver test mode and an acting mode, and also a test signal and an acting signal can be confirmed by both a sound and an indicator in case of a test mode. CONSTITUTION:A sending side is provided with a test code generator 4, an acting code generator 5, an end code generator 6 and an emergency broadcast transmission part 7, changes over a code by a changeover switch 8 and also emits a boradcasting wave from an antenna 1 through a synthesizer 3 and a sending part 2. This wave is caught by an antenna 11 of a receiving side, and an emergency information is demodulated by a receiving part 9. A test code and an acting code are discriminated by a test code discriminator 12 and an acting code discriminator 13, respectively, and a control switch 16 is driven through an adder 14 and a mode changeover switch 15. When the mode changeover switch 15 is changed over in advance to a test side T, both test and acting sound output are obtained.
