Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate the whole ventilation and to enhance the efficiency of an air-conditioner with the heat amount of a staying atmosphere, in the air-conditioner of a coating line for car bodies, by arranging a rotary heat-accumulator provided with an air vent group and connected to an air-feed and discharge system, before the removal of dust from and the conditioning of the temperature and humidity of air to be introduced into a coating booth.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary heat-accumulator 26 provided with an air vent group 30 along its rotary shaft is pivoted with a coating air-conditioner, and rotated with a chain 49 and a sprocket 48. Its receiving case 35 is slidably attached to each of an air- feed duct 1 and an air-discharge duct 28. The outside air is let flow in through a main door 35, a dry filter 53 to remove dust, and the air vent group 30 at the upper half of the heat-accumulator 26, while an atmosphere at the roof 54 of the coating line is inhaled into the discharge duct 28 and passed through the air vent group 30 at the lower half of the heat-accumulator 26 so that its calorie is accumulated when the air vent group 30 is rotated to the upper half and then pushed into the booth 3 where the atmosphere is mixed with the outside air. The gaseous mixture is humidified with hot water from a shower 12, heated with air in an indirect heater, and fed into the booth 3 through an air-feed duct 9. Consequently, the air-conditioner is effectively utilized with a large energy-saving effect.
