The processor 12 is operated with the data for the program stored in the process memory 13 and manages the operation of the interface 11, the associative memory 14, and the device controller 15, and the entire system is functioned as an intelligent controller. A copy of table of contents in the auxiliary storage device 2 is stored in the associative memory 14.
