Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stable records by pressing a sheet of recording paper against the heat sensitive roller of a heat sensitive recorder with uniform pressure applied without the necessity for making the device larger in scale and raising the accuracy of parts through the adoption of such an arrangement wherein a roller opposing to the heat sensitive head is strongly pressed against the head by pressure rollers. CONSTITUTION:A spring mounting member 11 which straddles over a recording head 2 and an opposing roller 5 is installed on a mounting base 1, and a compression spring 12 of which compression force is such a degree that will not hamper the rotational drive of a shaft 5A of the opposing roller 5 is installed between the shaft 5A and the spring mounting member 11, and it constantly compresses the opposing roller 5 against the heat sensitive recording head 2. Further, 3 sets of pressure rollers 13-15 are brought to contact with the opposing roller 5 at the side opposite to the recording head 2 and the pressure rollers 13-15 maintain the opposing roller 5 by means of properly adjusted compression springs 16, 17 so that the roller 5 is constantly brought to contact with the overall surface of the recording head 2 with substantially uniform pressure applied. The central pressure roller 14 is set to a high pressure to prevent the opposing roller 5 from being warped by the spring 12.
