Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure an easy recovery from power supply interruption for a file control system, by providing a write mark showing that a significant data is written, in addition to the data which is used by the user for every block in the file. CONSTITUTION:A data write command requested by a user is taken into a command register 11, and the data is taken into a buffer 15. The designated block address is set to a register 13 through a control part 12. Then a pattern with a wirte mark turned on is set to a control character register 14 to carry out the writing of a block. The user requests the write commands successively for writing. In case the file process is interrupted because the power supply is interrupted under an execution of writing or other factors, the write mark detects an off-block, and the process is restarted at this block.
