Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain an economical increase of the telephone terminals by every terminal, by transmitting the packet sent from a data terminal and stored temporarily, to a subscriber line in case the packet given from the telephone terminal is paused. CONSTITUTION:The voice sent from a telephone terminal is converted into a packet by a voice packet converter 17 and sent to a packet exchange network with no delay of time. The packet sent from the packet terminal is detected by a packet detecting circuit 9 and stored temporarily in a buffer 10 along with the packet from the packet terminal in case a packet is sent from the converter 17. Then the sections of the packet sent from the converter 17 via an up-going data 6A is detected by the circuit 9. Thus the sending of the packet which is sent from the converter 17 is prevented, and at the same time the packet stored in the buffer 10 is transmitted via an AND gate 11B, an OR gate 14 and an up- going data line 6.
