Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve an easy and accurate operation of checking stamping data and monitoring stamping action by stamping data while they are displaying on an indicator wherein the data is once memorized. CONSTITUTION:Stamping data entered from a data interface section 2 are memorized by a processing section 4 and then, displayed on an indicator 3 in such a manner as to be stamped on a display board such as plate. After checking for the correctness of said indication, a stamping starting command is provided to the processing section 4 to start the transfer of stamping data to a stamper 1. The stamper 1 receives and stamps the data adjusting itself to the stamping timing. At the same time, the indicator 3 indicates characters, symbols and the like to be stamped by sequentially moving a cursor according to the signals from the processing section 4 thereby facilitating the confirmation for the stamping process.
