Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate a car radio receiver without averting driver's eyes from driving, by audibly displaying frequency of a radio broadcast station during reception at present or to be preset.
CONSTITUTION: When an operation switch 3 is operated, an electronic tuning controller 2 is correspondingly operated to control the reception frequency of an electronic turning receiver 1, and a control signal based on it is given to an audio synthesis controller 4 to pick up information relating to required frequecy. Required audio data is given to an audio synthesis filter 6 from an audio data storage element based on the picked-up information, and the filter 6 outputs the information relating to the required frequency as audio based on the signal from the controller 4 and audio data. The audio output flows from a speaker 8 via a circuit 7 including a D/A converter, filter and amplifier, and human being can confirm it audibly.
