Abstract
PURPOSE:To directly connect an outgoing subscriber from a trunk line and an incoming subscriber of an extension, by constituting so that it can be instructed to the outgoing subscriber connected through the trunk line to dial an extension number. CONSTITUTION:When the private branch exchange as shown in the figure receives an incoming call from an outgoing subscriber 1 through a trunk line 3, a call signal detecting circuit 4 detects this incoming, and informs a sequence controlling circuit 5 of its incoming. The controlling circuit 5 operates an off- hooking circuit 6, makes it respond to its incoming, subsequently operates a talking circuit 7, and instructs the calling subscriber 1 to dial an extension number. After that, the controlling circuit 5 connects the outgoing subscriber 1 to the private branch exchange 9 which is capable of connecting extensions to each other, through the extension off-hooking circuit. The private branch exchange 9 connects the outgoing subscriber 1 and an extension incoming subscriber 10 in the same way as the case when each extension is connected regulary, in accordance with the extension number from the outgoing subscriber 1.
