Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a system capable of recording a high-frequency signal, by performing signal recording by irradiating a recording medium made of an insulating material with a heat wave and by applying a recording signal voltage to the irradiated recording medium through a recording head. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording medium 11 having an electret material film 13 formed on a conductor 12 runs as shown by an arrow in a figure. A conductive recording head 14 is provided in contact with the surface of this electret material film 13 and supplied with a recording signal. On the other hand, the contact part of the electret material film 13 which the conductive recording head 14 meets is irradiated with laser light 17 from a laser light source 16, and thus the electrostatic recording medium 11 is heated to accelerate charge application, thereby increasing a recording speed. Therefore, a high- frequency signal is recorded easily.
