Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to stop the count of charge at the end of chargeable programs and the power supply at the end of all programs from a transmission side, by providing the 1st and 2nd control circuits in response to a reference signal from the center at a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:When all VTRs stop, a detector 32 detects it and transmits a signal to control signal generators 36, 38. The control signal generator 36 generates a charge count release signal and transmits it to all local devices 16 via mixing and distributors 40, 42, 64 and a coaxial cable 52. A signal converter 66 operates a control signal reception circuit 68 and outputs a charge release signal to a chargeable program selection circuit 72 and a charge/noncharge selection switch 78. When all broadcasts are finished, a detector 34 detects it and gives a signal to a control signal generator 38. Since chargeable programs are finished, the detector 32 also transmits a signal for power supply off.
