Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the undesired coloring at a horizontal high range part and to reduce the folded distortion, by exercising the control so that the space sampling phase to a color signal sets the process rate conversion outputs of different image pickup outputs equal to the space sampling phase. CONSTITUTION:For an image pickup element 1, the picture element to a green component is distributed checkerwise and the picture elements to red and blue components are distributed sequentially, and the space sampling phases of R and B have a shift of pi to the component G. The pickup output of the element 1 is applied to filters 6 and 36 after an A/D conversion 2 and a separation 3 to obtain a red signal Cr, a blue signal Cb, a green signal Cg and luminance signals Yr, Yb and Yg respectively. Furthermore a color signal Cd to be modulated is obtained through a D-D converters 20R, 20B and 20G for conversion of signal process rate plus a phase control circuit 60 that applies a group delay. At the same time, the amplitude characteristics is set equal through a compensating filter 60 for the signals Yr, Yb and Yg respectively. The luminance signal Y passed through delaying elements 76 and 78 is synthesized with the signal Cd to form a luminance TV signal through a D/A conversion 90.
