Abstract

PURPOSE:To monitor always disturbing radio waves automatically without stopping the system even during operation, by synchronizing slave stations with a control signal from the radio base station and by providing an idle time on an up control channel. CONSTITUTION:The up response signal from a mobile equipment is received by a control channel up receiver 6, and the tone of a frequency proportional to the field value is transmitted from a VFO7 and is counted through a gate 4 by a counter 8. The gate 4 is opened only in a section gamma and is controlled by a timer 9. If the mobile equipment is caused to respond only to a control signal Pn for response request, the gate 4 is opened after a known time alpha+beta from broadcasting of a control signal P1 from the base station, and the tone for field information of the section gamma is counted to measure the field intensity. When some radio waves are received in the section gamma, the output frequency of the VFO7 is increased to detect the existence of disturbing waves.
