Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a conversion error, by applying the signal of an upper bit of a digital signal to an analogue output signal through a resistance. CONSTITUTION:The most significant bit B1 out of input n-number bits of a D/A converter 4 indicates the polarity. The signal of this bit B1 is given to an inverter 1. A voltage E is taken out from a middle 2a of a resistance 2 provided between the input and the output of the inverter 1 and is applied to the output of the D/A converter 4 through a resistance 3. The variable resistor 2 is regulated to generate the voltage E of the same quantity as the conversion error, which is caused by polarity switching of the bit B1, and this voltage is applied to the analogue output, thereby cancelling the conversion error.
