Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible to set freely the antiglare effect by providing an electrooptic shutter of liquid crystal by approaching the effective surface of reflectio, and controlling the antiglare effect in accordance with the quantity of incident ray into the antiglare mirror with the use of an optical detector and feedback system. CONSTITUTION:A metallic sputtered diaphragms 6 made of Ag and Al, which serve both as a reflecting diaphragm and an electrode are attached to a flat substrate 7, and a passivated diaphragm 5 of SiO2 is provided on it. A transparent electrode 2 is attached to a transparent glass plate 1 and is connected to the outside.
