Abstract

PURPOSE:To limit the effect of failures of one monitor control station locally, by providing two or more monitoring control stations to a remote monitor control system and enabling the transfer of leadership between minotor control stations. CONSTITUTION:Control stations 2, 3, 4 to be monitored are monitored by taking one station 1 out of two monitor control stations 1, 5 as a main station and another station 5 as a slave station. At normal interrogation, a callout signal (solid lines) is transmitted from a main station 1 to control stations 2, 3, 4 to be monitored and a response signal (broken lines) corresponding to it is returned to the main station 1. Simultaneously, the same operation is made to the slave station 5. If a failure takes place in the main station 1, a leadership transfer request code is transmitted from the slave station 5 to the main station 1, and the slave station 5 plays a role of the main station by receiving a start code of the leadership inserted in a response signal from the main station 1. Thus, even if failures take place in one of monitor control stations, the effect can be limited locally.
